In this role, I would have a brief or a title heading on what the client wanted. One side of this position would entail writing in-house for Villa finder. Creating exciting and inventive ways to describe their portfolio of luxury villas. Creating individual content and personality for over 600 villas across Europe and Asia. Depending on the location, if it was St Tropez or Bali, I would write according to each feel and atmosphere of the county, to create an ambience for the reader. To take them on a journey before even stepping out the door. To envision how their life would be expanded and the true sense of splendour and ease they would encounter by booking a villa through Villa finder. The points I would touch on are detailed villa descriptions, location, services provided etc. The second role I had in villa finder was ghostwriting content for luxury & travel magazines, blogs and information pages. This would include a brief from the client on what feel they were creating and I would embody that in my article. I would make sure each article was SEO optimised to receive the most traffic possible and work in keywords, phrases and links to other parts of the website to keep people engaged and on the platform for as long as possible to push the content. The role of this job was to revamp an outdated Luxury holiday villa company. The business needed work to get it up to standard and to start rebuilding its brand ethos after Covid. My role was to create a marketing strategy. I first looked at the clients the brand was trying to reach and how best to communicate with them and find what they truly desired from their luxury vacation. After market research, I began to create content all with knowledge and research I found from surveys, taking to previous clientele on what they would like to see improved to offer them a better experience. I would use Current trends, SEO research and application to further boost the traction. Responsibilities: Organising creative content across different media platforms. Copywriting each villa description. Creating weekly newsletters. Guest and client relations. Use of systems - ADWords, Mail-chimp, excel, Social media etc. Creating an image for the brand. Weekly blog post and articles on latest news, history of ibiza, Ibizan fashion, things to do on holiday etc. Show less
