Volunteer
-
Nov 2009 - Jan 2015
My aim is to gain paid employment in the Community Youth Sector. I have an interest in young people and a commitment to helping others. I have worked as a Volunteer in Youth Organisations for the past six years. I enjoy supporting the youth with their particularly concerns and needs. I have been involved in a planning committee for a program where I have had to liaise with the Victorian Police and other local community groups. I have been a facilitator, where as a member of a team, I under took the leadership of a small workgroup starting with icebreakers which lead to other activities for cross cultural training. This training was designed to create cultural awareness and to improve team work in the workplace. I helped to facilitate photography workshops for youth, where I have assisted the trainer, helping the participants to learn the computer program Photoshop. Show less
