I am the opening cashier in this role. When I am not cashiering, I either assist customers on the floor, restock the shelves, or price items. I have also assisted with book buybacks at the end of the semester and had tabled at the new student organization handing out coupons and answering questions. I am the opening cashier in this role. After graduating as a student in May of 2017, I returned to assist in the athletic department to gain experience in 2018. This led me to do massive things for the school, such as creating and running their athletic Twitter account (ACSD_Athletics). This social media athletic account was originally meant to promote games and share score updates with the community; nowadays, Twitter has become one of the best and main ways we communicate with our fans. I was lucky to be part of all of Joe Burrow's success at Athens HS, LSU, and now with the Cincinnati Bengals. During this time, I was able to enjoy the ride as a student as Joe led us to the state championship game in football. I had the opportunity to share his success during his record-breaking year at LSU through his super bowl run as a Cininnitie Bangle. I also had a few of my tweets go viral, with one shared by CBS during a Bengals game. I have also had the following roles at Athens - Unofficially the Sports Information Director (2018-2023) - Lead football statistician (2016-2022) - Assistant XC coach (2020 and 2021 Seasons) - I ran scoreboards or game clocks for many games. (2018-2020) - During the 2020 covid season, when fans were not allowed at games, I streamed volleyball and basketball games on YouTube. Show less

In this internship, I had the opportunity to learn skills in ticket sales while also assisting with game day operations and promotions. While working tickets, I answered phone calls and sold tickets by phone or walkup, assisted in scanning tickets for special events and printed and organized will-call tickets. In promotions, I was responsible for assisting the mascot, setting up and managing the kids’ zone, and working on the in-game promotions with our marketing team. I learned a lot about customer relations, organization, timeliness, and creativity as we successfully entertained our fans at our home games. Show less

    • Director of Players Operations
      • Jan 2022 - Jan 2023

My official position with the Copperheads was Director of Player Operations. In this position, I planned road trips, reserving a charter bus for every away trip and selecting a pregame meal stop. During the preseason, I also set up and ran team arrival and oversaw players' events, from practices to community events. I assisted the rest of the organization in many ways. Such as playing the In-Game Music/Sound Effects during home games. I also traveled with the team as the traveling, where I did everything from being the visiting team administrator on-site while running social media for select games. I also assisted our broadcasters in game preparation. I also oversaw the team website and design and did a cleanup of the website while adding more historical items such as team records, rosters, and past team recaps and stores from past years. I began to create a team record book in the final weeks of my internship. I had the opportunity to create and run a game promotion from scratch. That game was "Turn It Gold With Passion Game," where we raised funds to fight childhood cancer. I had to plan, promote and oversee the game. I got to decide on everything from special game uniforms tatt the team was going to wear to the social media graphics and in-game promotions, writing two stories about the night. I would say that the game was a success, as it drew one of the larger crowds of the season. The Copperheads staff in 2022 was able to accomplish these goals. - The first season back in two years due to the pandemic - Generated over $200,000 in total revenue - Held a franchise record of 25 community events across Athens County. - Led the GLSCL in total attendance, 13,796 (only team to break 10k fans last season). - Brought back an affordable, family-fun activity for Southern Ohio residents during the summertime. I joined the NJCAA D3 program in its second year. I began as the football statistician, the only student staffer in the athletic program. This is where I got my start in college athletics. In this position, I was the football and basketball statistician, where I started games and wrote recap stories for the team website, which were also printed in the local small-town newspaper. My final project for them was helping them create record books and website work for all athletic teams as they began to grow. Show less
