  I currently supervise daily liquid product applications for the Groveland location. This includes communicating assigned work orders from dispatch to custom applicators and tender drivers, ensuring that correct products are applied accurately and efficiently. I communicate regularly with MKC Strategic Account Managers to ensure we have products on-hand to take care of their customer's needs. I work with my direct report employees to develop their yearly goals and development plans that help each individual develop skills that benefit not only the company but also themselves. I work closely with my peers to fill in when the Agronomy Operations Manager is absent and see that the position's responsibilities are carried out.   I am heavily involved in all aspects of my family's farming and ranching operation. We produce wheat, milo, soybeans, and alfalfa, and also have ninety head of Angus cow-calf pairs. I spend a very large amount of my time in a tractor, combine, or sprayer throughout the year. When I'm not operating machinery, I can usually be found performing equipment maintenance, fence building and repairs, or researching new methods of production for both crops and beef.
