Dealing with all contractors Risk Assessments plus Method Statements, Control of Permit to Works, Control of safety audits, Accident Procedures, First Aid, Fire Alarm Evacuation and checks, Risk Assessments, Equipment, Hygiene Team, Pest Control, KPIs, Maintenance of site utilities, PATs (Personal Awareness Tests), H&S Communication and Training, Security Team, Control of Contractors, Site facilities and H&S Policy. 1995 2007 ASDA Distribution Centres, H&S Co-ordinator, Facilities and Training Manager I worked at three different sites, responsible for a variety of conditions and situations. As well as general duties, notable achievements included: I ensured full safety controls were in place controlling all contractors while major building works where carried out internally and externally at the Washington site. This period was accident free. At the Haydock dry goods distribution centre I ensured that external audits were successfully passed within 4 months of new policies being implemented. I reduced accidents from 20 a month to 5 a month over a 5 year period at the Ince site. Show less
