I started with the opening of the CDN Valleyview division for my first 3 years and have since transitioned to the major projects division. I was given great opportunities from day one with key roles in projects, allowing me to develop my skills as a supervisor and electrician. I was given great opportunities from day one with key roles in projects, allowing me to develop my skills as a supervisor and electrician. CDN deals primarily with industrial sites that have made me very fluent with MCC's, PLC logic, commissioning as well as developing my instrumentation skills. I find it very hard to express in a few sentences what I have been apart of since our industry is diverse and unique. My experience varies from being in charge of small projects, to PLC swap outs, to commissioning on large scale projects with plenty of roles in between. I feel very confident in any role I would be given thanks to all of the opportunities I've had and the great people I have met along the way. Show less

Chilliwack, British Columbia, Canada Joined a project at my childhood high school, Sardis Secondary, where our goal was to take a non-addressable fire alarm system and convert it to an addressable one. It was a big task finding devices with the limited drawings we had and we spent weeks finding devices. Some as easy as fire alarm pull station to others buried in insulation behind ceiling tiles. With many different circuits, it took a solid game plan to finish each circuit by the end of each day to keep the existing system active… Show more Joined a project at my childhood high school, Sardis Secondary, where our goal was to take a non-addressable fire alarm system and convert it to an addressable one. Started my industrial experience in the Major Construction division. Had a strong work ethic and was rewarded with more advanced jobs. Started out learning how to build tray, grounding, and pulling cable. Then graduated to more advanced jobs like wiring devices, motors, PLC's, MCC's, and leading crews to complete small projects.
