Mgr. Yard Operations (MYO- Transportation)
-
Jul 2005 - Aug 2007
During my time in the operating department I held two very different jobs. First position was a Mgmt.. Trainee/MYO in North Little Rock terminal. My primary goal was the effective movement of both inbound and outbound trains. The 2nd position was in a more specialized role. I managed all the rock and grain trains regionally. That included one-on-one visits with the customers to express any concerns related to their transportation needs. In this role, I worked very close with Marketing and Sales. It was a great opportunity to not only learn various aspects of the company, but also learn the importance of cross functional team development.
