As a technical consultant to wind energy developers, I designed high-ROI projects and compiled data-driven evidence to take into project finance or M&A negotiations. • Created and maintained data pipelines for a terabyte-scale data warehouse of industrial and geospatial data • Saved client $1.8MM NPV by building a time series classifier to find misconfigured turbines • Advised clients on sensitivity and uncertainty in hybrid statistical/physics-based forecast models • Developed internal python tools to automate and expand the capabilities of our analysis team • Initiated and led a machine learning research team; presented at the international WindEurope conference Show less

I was funded to improve the performance of a manufacturing process called Cold Spray Deposition with polymeric material. My work improved deposition efficiencies by more than 6x over the best reported values in the literature, as well as reducing operating costs by 85% compared to incumbent commercial systems. The research consisted of equal parts CFD simulation and an empirical validation study, including the design, construction, and instrumentation of the Cold Spray system itself. I published in the Journal of Thermal Spray Technologies and presented at the national APS Division of Fluid Dynamics conference. Show less
