Trent's introduction to actively managed strategies began in his early teens, when he rode the bus from school to his father's office. His father - rather than watch his son engage the hard working employees with his gift of conversation - put him to work doing statistical research. Later, when the company built a website for advisors, Trent was asked to present it to the 80+ advisors at one of their annual conferences: he was a natural born speaker. By listening in on conversations with advisors, he quickly learned how to convey the attributes of actively managed strategies to advisors, simplifying the complex for clients. Based upon that talent, the logical next step after college was to become an internal wholesaler. But that was short lived, and he soon had the real experience out in the field, not in the office.
