      I was the student assistant for a new kind of program where incoming music majors who need a fundamentals review can take a modified version of Music Theory I, which combines Music Fundamentals and ordinary Music Theory I. The purpose of this is so that these music majors are not a year behind in their studies. Music Fundamentals would become a Music Theory for Non-Majors course of sorts. My responsibilities included attending all modified Music Theory I classes and chiming in as necessary, tutoring students when I was available, and planning with the professors for the modified course as well as the Ear Training I course that corresponds.
