Travis is a very detail-oriented manger. Travis has been one of the most remarkable change agents I have seen in any organization that I have been involved. He is very skilled with financial statements and communicates very well to all stakeholders in the organization. He also sets attainable stretch goals for his direct reports and the organization and holds employees accountable for hitting their assigned objectives. Overall, an excellent controller and steward of financial resources.
Danny Blonien
When Travis joined our group, he was already a skilled financial analyst and CPA. In his role in the BI group, he had to quickly learn several technologies to be effective as a developer. This included learning a multidimensional database engine (Essbase), SQL, Visual Basic for Applications, UNIX, and shell scripting. Travis has an incredible ability to learn new, complex things quickly, and he became proficient as a BI analyst and developer in a few short months. He also took the time to obtain a certification as an Essbase developer, which very few people ever obtain. Travis was very productive and reliable. He always met his deadlines for completing his deliverables, and he was very helpful in mentoring less skilled members of our team. I always gave Travis the most difficult assignments because I knew he would figure out a way to get the work done with high quality. He also worked to automate and improve our nightly processing so it was much more reliable and accurate. Travis was also very effective at communicating with the business owners and subject matter experts as we were developing and evolving our applications. He always took the time to make sure we understood the requirements, and he was very good at engaging the business owners in helping us test and implement the solutions. He was well respected by his peers and all levels of management, including the executive team. Travis is a true professional and would be a great asset to any organization. Danny Blonien, PMP
