Duties / Responsibilities Performed:As a GS 11 Technician I was a tier 1 and tier 2 support. My area coverage involved 3 different agencies (NRCS, FSA and RD),10 Locations in Northern Michigan and about 150 customers. On Average I managed 10 offices daily with their IT equipment, devices, and 150 user support. We used a help-desk ticket management system to process Incidents and Changes to customers equipment. Tickets were processed through “Remedy” software, or we contacted through email or phone, Then manually submitted help-desk ticket. We all worked independently. Provide support and fixes for day-to-day operational problems. This may include: user network, and account support. Setup and configuration (e.g., user profile, e-mail, peripheral access), troubleshoot user account problems and daily user support issues. Hardware to Software, account issues/errors in Active Directory, installation of devices and equipment, maintenance of servers and all other devices. support for any networked systems, printers, peripherals, and any related equipment. Create, modify, and distributing technical documents easy for customers to use. I provided support for workstation remote network access (e.g., Wireless Access Points, VPN). Perform troubleshooting, setup, and software installation/maintenance to connect to enterprise environment remotely. This support also involves servers. We use primary Server 2012. We are required to update and sustain living documentation and inventory reports, as well as actively watch network monitoring systems and automated alert distribution lists for issues.I coordinated with network security staff to address, investigate, and resolve workstation security issues such as viruses, worms, and spyware. Perform workstation security scans and applies missing security patches. Provide data network support to users to help troubleshoot basic network issues, isolate problems.

I had full administration rights and Used Active Directory to maintain all computers on our network and domain. Along with the computers I worked with Polycom systems that we used for conferencing. One was VTC (virtual Teleconference). I have a 40 hour certification on VTC installation, maintenance, configuration, and operation.

Duties / Responsibilities Performed: I was the subject matter expert in the store for loss prevention. I attended Weekly meetings with the General Manager and 3 department managers. I conducted and lead meetings with both management, and informational meetings with team members. I reviewed resumes for employment and conducted the safety and loss portion for new hire orientation. I performed annually, bi-annually, monthly, weekly, daily safety checks and status reports for corporate. I was in charge of loss in the store that happened either internally, externally or through administrative errors. I investigated all points of sales transactions that were “red flagged” by our point of sales system. I operated, managed, and installed all video surveillance systems and cameras in the store. I was responsible for the entire stores annual and monthly loss. I had to balance reports and safety checks with the time it took to do investigations on flagged transactions or money loss. I worked 40 hours a week. I would like to note that I did this while going to college full time. My reason for leaving this job was to focus on graduating college and my duty and obligations with the Michigan National Guard.
