Manage a full range of business activities including reviewing/approving accounting, purchasing & personal documents in the fiscal oversight for IT & serves as controller for assigned departments. The IT Div. has approx. an annual budget of $25 million allocated over 28 depts./sub‐depts. & 61 financial accounts. Contract Management: • Assist with the fiscal agent duties for the master contract (Texas Connection Consortium-TCC) & related other related contracts (43 higher education institutions) including: the review & negotiate of contracts, purchase orders for fiscal compliance. • Perform & monitor staff on AR duties including preliminary annual maintenance billings. • Perform & monitoring staff on AP duties including audits & resolution of billing discrepancies. • Prepare financial analyses for TCC member purchases, cancellations, costs etc. & reconciliations to vendor’s details. Reconciliation accounts & prepare FS for the TCC Board. Management: • Serve as HR Coordinator for the IT Div., provide approvals at department level. • Maintain position management control for the IT by ensuring all positions are approved & funded. • Hire, train & supervise Business Coordinators & student workers assigned to the section. • Serves as office manager delegate/department head in the absence of the Director of Business Services • Serve as liaison for financial, purchasing & contract units for assigned IT departments. • Manage complex calendars for multiple meetings with TCC parties. • Support/Review travels of all IT staffs through Concur. Financial Analysis & Financial Account Management: • Analyze financial data for assigned IT departments to generate key statistics & inquiries. • Assist in the preparation of long‐range revenue & expenditure forecasting, monthly/annual reports. • Monitor, analyze, reconcile assigned IT accounts.
