      In the role of Controller, I stepped in and took full charge of the GL, daily and monthly processes of 3 separate entities with minimal instruction from company management because the previous Controller had already left. Working with the owners and the external CPA I was able to get 2 of the 3 entities caught up on past due tax returns and helped the owners transition to a new CPA firm. After resigning I continued to work in a consulting role, reviewing their quarterly and end of year financial statements and work papers and most recently oversaw the financial due diligence process during the sale of the company.

      CPI, headquartered in Wisconsin, is a multi-national company with offices in the UK, Ireland with additional operations in Canada, New Zealand, Australia and formerly Germany and Japan. During my tenure the scope and depth of my responsibilities and role in the department steadily increased from that of Assistant Accounting Manager to Controller. In this position I reported to the CFO. My responsibilities included all foreign and domestic payroll; verifying the accuracy of financial activities and transaction processing, producing accurate and timely financial statements, system administration, serving on cross functional teams. When I resigned this position to move out of state, I continue to work remotely in in a support role to the incoming Controller and accounting department in general.
