I was granted a Travel Fellowship in 2016 which enabled me to visit Aged Care Facilities in Australia and the USA. I visited 17 housing and care providers over 32 locations in Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Tasmania, San Francisco and New York over 5 weeks. This was an amazing experience and an opportunity to look at facilities and services for older people and in particular those living with Dementia. I will share my findings through a report and presentations both locally and nationally and intend to keep with many of my links with international colleagues. Show less
