Bio
Kristen Moir
Tracy is one of the most fabulous humans I've gotten the pleasure to work with. She is a self-starter, patient, and excellent at running projects with little help. Tracy is also an incredible collaborator, team-player, and general positive spirit to be around. During at her time at Darkness to Light, she was able to work across multiple parts of the organization while creating new initiatives that helped to center those with lived experiences. Any company would be lucky to have her on their team.

Site Administrator
-
Jun 2008 - Jun 2010
As Site Administrator, I was put into an upper level management role to bring an underperforming school out of that designation to a performing plus school. Under my leadership, we built a brand new campus for the 2009-2010 school year, doubled our student body and teaching staff, brought up the AIMS (Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards) standardized test scores in 3rd through 6th grades, and brought systematic changes in all aspects of the school’s daily operations and long term strategic goals. At Legacy, I published monthly newsletters for our parents, wrote the content for the schools’ website and helped create various public relations materials that reflected the mission of the school and highlighted our achievements. We had weekly staff meetings in which I presented various trainings in differentiated instruction, staff development, best education practices and the like. I was also given various budgetary responsibilities which included acquiring grant approved materials, a monthly spending allowance, and assisting in preparing the annual budget as it related to staff salaries and classroom equipment.
