Essential Functions • Preparation of the annual, quarterly, and special SEC filings, including debt and/or equity offerings. • Compilation of financial statements, footnotes, management’s discussion and analysis and all other components of the financial reporting. • Act as day-to-day contact with external auditors relating to matters that pertain to external financial reporting. • Research, document, discuss and resolve technical accounting and reporting issues with the operational accounting team and the CFO. • Ensure financial reporting compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley. • Assess existing accounting policies and procedures and develop and implement best practices within areas of responsibilities. • Assist in the preparation of the projections including debt and/or equity offerings and related acquisitions. • Supports due diligence efforts for mergers and acquisitions as needed. • Review and monitor filings of business segments to ensure disclosures and in line with peer group standards.
