It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Tracy DeSpain. I worked with Tracy at Nevro Corporation where we worked together to help people suffering from chronic pain. I covered the Utah territory and it was my job to help find patients who were good candidates for HF10 Spinal Cord Stimulators. When HF10 Therapy was new, insurance companies often denied the prior-auth request calling HF10 experimental and investigational. Many times, these denials would come within just days of the patient's surgery date. Fortunately, I had Tracy as my appeals specialist. During my time at Nevro, we never had a patient miss their surgery date in Utah, because of a denial. Her knowledge, passion, sense of urgency, and attention to detail got the job done every time. I never had to worry or wonder if it was getting done, because she would always follow up with me. Tracy was professional and articulate in her communications with physicians and payors. She is a great communicator and hard worker! It was great to have her on our team and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to any organization.
