Served as the chief executive officer for the largest nonprofit women’s organization (800 members at the time) in East Tennessee. Provided leadership and oversight for all activities including fund development, training, membership development, communications, and strategic planning. Worked closely with and reported to the board of directors. Developed and maintained relationships with business executives, public officials, media representatives, and other civic and nonprofit organizations in the East Tennessee region. Managed a staff and budget of approximately $400,000. The League experienced a 40% growth in revenue during my time as the Director.
