As a founding Board member of Lawyers for Good Government, I have witnessed Traci in action, and worked with her. Traci had the vision to conceive of an organization that mobilized lawyers to combat the threats made evident by the Trump administration, and she had the initiative and diligence to make Lawyers for Good Government happen. Traci has a rare combination of skills that have made LGG into an effective force of 130,000 lawyers, including marketing, organizational, communications, technological, interpersonal, and legal, all driven by a passion for justice and a desire to make America a fairer, freer, more equal place. I’ve seen her organize a major national policy conference in a few weeks with virtually no budget, and made it a huge success – though for most organizations it would have taken substantial staff and money to accomplish far less. Her vision and hard work has transformed a post-election Facebook rant into a thriving national progressive organization with already numerous important achievements, and plans for many more in the future.
