  I teach all of the Language Arts 1 classes. I feel it is important for kids to have strong teachers when transitioning to high school from middle school. I teach one class of Contemporary Literature to seniors. We explore trends in literature and social issues through books. The students learn to be introspective and learn about themselves while learning about the world around them. I also sponsor the school newspaper The Highlights, which is published in the Louisiana Press Journal. I teach all of the Language Arts 1 classes.
