Previously worked in a team of 4 teachers based in Academic IT Services, at the University of Oxford. I taught a variety of courses to Staff, Post and Under Grads, these included a variety of advanced Excel Courses, Web Design using HTML, CSS as well as Word Press. I also specialised in delivering courses using SharePoint 2013, wrote bespoke SharePoint courses to deliver to the Colleges and Libraries in Oxford. Each term I held 1-1 sessions with Staff from the University and Colleges on how to successfully use and implement SharePoint for their departments/teams. I wrote courses to include the use of Screen casting software (Captivate, Camtasia, Jing and Articulate) for training videos, which also include interactive quizzes to check staff/students knowledge and understanding.

During my role of Course Leader for the Foundation Degree in Computing Science - I worked closely with Oxford Brookes University and the FD Teaching staff at AWC to ensure that the course was brought up to date with the current Computer Science Degree being delivered at Brookes, as well as helped with improving both the retention and achievement rate for the FdSc. The FdSc in Computing Science during my time as Course Leader underwent its 5 year Periodic Review and a Re-Validation where I worked exceptionally hard to ensure the course covered the correct criteria and level of academic standards to allow for a smooth transition for the students when they leave AWC and complete the Degree to a full Honours at Oxford Brookes.

Undertaking the role of Course Leader and Tutor to the students on the BED Year 1/2, ensuring that they are working in a happy environment.Writing both SOWs for units as well as Assignments, marking and moderating assignments, teaching a range of subjects including; E-commerce, Information Systems, Advanced Databases, Advanced Spread sheets, Digital Graphics, Digital Graphics for Interactive Media, Web Design including XHTML and CSS.Teaching a range of academic levels from level 2 through to Foundation Degree.

Other than undertaking the role of Course Tutor for the BED students during their two years at the college, I also completed the paperwork for the BTEC Edexcel qualifications, helped the students complete UCAS applications and write personal statements.Taught a range of IT related subjects to BTEC Level 2 and Level 3 IT students, AS & A2 ICT, Foundation Degree in Computer Science.
