When I think of Tracey Sims, the term ‘Swiss Army Knife’ comes to mind as she is proficient in so many areas. I have observed firsthand her ability to assess a potentially negative situation, assist in finding positive solutions for both client and team, all while working to ensure that the financial viability of the business is not compromised. Tracey is without a doubt gifted with the ability to ‘read the room’ both intellectually and emotionally. It is a potent combination and I have seen many organizations win by it. She is loyal to her leadership, and to her teams, always cultivating open communication between both. As a co-founder, of the IMPACT Sustainability Travel & Tourism Conference, I was honoured to have Tracey assist us in implementing our business processes, increasing our brand awareness and expanding our registration. I would welcome the opportunity to work with her again from both a professional and personal viewpoint. Any organization who is fortunate enough to have Tracey on their team will benefit well into the future.

I had the distinct pleasure of working with Tracey for two years during our shared time at Destination Greater Victoria (DGV). Tracey was my direct Manager and we worked together very closely on the development and execution of DGV's new major events portfolio, with a key focus on the IMPACT Sustainability Travel and Tourism Conference, Capital City Comic Con, Northwest Deuce Days and other projects. Tracey is an exceptionally skilled and genuine leader and I can't sing her praises enough! With Tracey as my mentor, I learned many invaluable lessons and skillsets and she continually encouraged me to confront new challenges and professional growth opportunities. Tracey's unconditional support allowed me to build confidence and really spread my wings. It takes a special leader to do that and I'd jump at the opportunity to work with Tracey again. Tracey leads with confidence and grace and she stands up for what she believes in. She is incredibly strategic, thoughtful and diplomatic and has proven on countless occasions that she can navigate the most sensitive of situations with purpose and compassion. She'll also be the first one to jump in to assist her team members when help is needed, creating a loyal and supportive team unit. Any organization would be extremely lucky to have Tracey in their corner and I would wholeheartedly recommend Tracey for any leadership role she decides to pursue. Sincerely, Alexandra Eady
