      I joined Rotork at a time of high headcount forecast, comprising of niche skill set and volume. I conducted a review of the current practices, consulted with the Hiring Managers to ascertain what processes were in place, what worked/what didn't, determined if the roles were urgent/non urgent and managed the agency relationships.I coached the Hiring Managers on recruitment best practice; introduced interview questions based on role requirements and ensured that I or one other supported face to face interviews to ensure consistency. I worked with the Hiring Managers to introduce a scoring system based on essential/desirable skill set to determine if candidates met the role criteria. I simplified the headcount approval process by ensuring that only essential people were part of the process and by having visibility I was able to remove any blockers. I introduced a Hiring Manager Briefing Form to document the essential/desirable candidate requirements, role USP etc. This was a great aid when setting out the timeline for interviews and for managing everyone's expectations.My aim was to be a trusted partner, reduce the recruitment budget, to hire top talent within minimum time frame. I submitted a case to the HR Manager to trial job board advertising and sourcing. I worked with Marketing to introduce LinkedIn advertising to drive interest and applications to the career website. This was to improve brand awareness and put Rotork on the map as a credible local employer.
