  High Street Kensington Brought in by Ted Young to revamp and reinvigorate the features offering, these pages are now bright and snappy - in design and tone. I can't take all the credit (!) but during my time at Metro the paper overtook the Sun and the Daily Mail to become the most-read week-day newspaper, with a readership of 3.4 million. I oversaw features covering travel, food, movies, music, fashion, health, beauty and gadgets, plus the 60 Seconds and Letters pages.

  Kensington I contributed feature ideas for the Daily Mail’s conference every day. When my editor was away, I attended conference and pitched ideas directly to the editor of the paper. I also commissioned and edited across Femail Magazine and Life & Style, as well as looking after high-profile columnists including Liz Jones, Jenni Murray and Janet Street-Porter.

  Kensington I generated fashion, beauty and lifestyle ideas, commissioned them, arranged shoots, worked on layouts and ‘passed’ the section on Sundays. Special projects: - Managed the fashion coverage for the Royal Wedding in 2011, producing a special 20-page section for the next day’s paper. - On the launch team for the Irish Daily Mail. - Seconded for 3 months to work on the launch team for London Lite, developing the paper from concept to launch.
