• Over 10 years, starting with most recent:- IT business continuity planner supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs. Responsible for threat and vulnerability assessments; IT continuity policy development; and IT continuity planning- On-site contract lead for Department of Labor Emergency Management planning and operations. Developed policy and plans; participated in exercises; and provided training. Managed personnel assignments and project financials - On site contract Lead for Labor's pandemic influenza planning, working with top Department policy and planning officials to build, test, and exercise the plan with the Secretary and other senior appointees. This effort was considered the tip of the spear for pandemic planning within the Federal government at the time.- On-site lead for Department of Education business continuity planning and emergency response capability. Crafted extensive policy and plans; developed and led complex exercises, including one in which the Deputy Secretary and department heads participated. Managed personnel assignments and project financial management.- Served as the Booz Allen PM for the development of four Internal Revenue Service Situation Awareness and Management Centers in the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks. Responsible for building the concept of operations; designing and furnishing the physical plants; policy development; and training and exercises. The SAMC concept and most of the organizational structure developed during my tenure remains operational today.- Served as the assistant to the National Communications System client for regional policy and planning. Also served as a watch stander in the NCS crisis response center immediately following the 9/11 terror attacks- Led a business continuity planning marketing initiative in the San Antonio military market- Served as a subject matter expert speaker at three professional conferences.

Briefed my team’s findings to the Chief of Naval Operations, Commandant of the Marine Corps, and a number of high level Department of Defense appointees- Aide to Rear Admiral Fran McKee, the Navy’s first female line Flag Officer.
