I was lucky enough to work with Trace during my tenure at Bambee. We both experienced similar career growth and Trace was a trusted partner of mine in working through the challenges new roles presented to us both in a fast paced growing start up. Trace not only was able to distill complex engineering tasks into workable chunks that others could execute but is a master practitioner himself. He tackles problems head on and can balance speed with the need to take a step back and reason about why something is being done to ensure a robust solution to problems. Trace will be a valuable asset for any company he works for and I hope our careers cross paths again in the future sooner than later.

In my role as Director of Engineering at Bambee, I've been privileged to work alongside many talented individuals. Yet, Trace, who served as our lead back end engineer and team lead, continues to stand out in memory. Trace demonstrated extraordinary dedication in his work. His organizational skills were second to none and his relentless pursuit of self-improvement was a testament to his humility and commitment to professional growth. He often worked late into the night to ensure our systems were functioning seamlessly and that releases were executed on time. What set Trace apart was his exceptional leadership skills. He navigated challenges with optimism and was always able to find opportunities even in the most complex situations. He consistently prioritized the team's best interests, demonstrating the true essence of a team leader. Trace exhibited a comprehensive understanding of our product and how it fit within our business objectives. His skill in fostering open communication between stakeholders and engineers was instrumental in aligning our technical and business goals. As a team lead, Trace excelled. He was always looking for ways to support not only me in my role, but the entire team. His initiative, combined with his eagerness to make operations more efficient, showcased his qualities as an exemplary leader and team player. In sum, Trace was not just an outstanding engineer but also a phenomenal team lead. His blend of technical skills, leadership ability, humility, and understanding of business dynamics made him a cornerstone of our team. If you're seeking a resilient, humble, and proactive leader with a strong engineering background, Trace comes with my highest recommendation.
