Doria C M.

I had the pleasure of working with Townsend when he was a Company Manager and later, a General Manager at Troika's corporate office. Throughout that time, he proved to be an invaluable leader with a strong managerial vision. He always encouraged our team to formulate solid, long-term plans, follow proper procedures, examine work deeply, and explore multiple perspectives when acclimating to challenges. No matter how daunting the task, Townsend approaches every situation with a calm, collected demeanor, a list of solutions, and most importantly, a good sense of humor. Anyone would be lucky to acquire him as a mentor, a teammate, a consultant, or a boss!

Recognized as one of the top advisors to Broadway producers, business owners, and those seeking to have their interests represented before the entertainment industry, I am a proven leader, collaborator, communicator, and motivator with extensive experience originating opportunities for creators, entertainment asset holders, and those with or seeking financial interests. With a knack for identifying lesser-known revenue sources among entertainment ventures, I have demonstrated a unique ability to develop hypotheses, perform diligence, price, and recommend terms. This work has involved technology driven companies, including Arilyn, a management system for creative brands and professionals to create, manage and publish augmented reality content; TodayTix, a digital ticketing platform for theatrical and cultural experiences; and ProductionPro, a portal for production collaboration in Film, TV and Theater. I am additionally involved as an advisor to both domestic and international production companies on matters related to investments, acquisitions and operations; and to entertainment investment funds, reviewing and making recommendations on overall approach, value propositions and financial modeling. I am proud to have originated 8-figure deals tied to some of the most recognized theatrical titles in the world. Show less
