Torsten Schubert is one of a kind Chef. I heard about him and met him when he worked at the posh Samaya in Bali. I was impressed by creativity, resolve presentation and taste. Great Chef, for a while we worked both for the H.M. the Sultan of Brunei where he worked as Exec. Chef at the Empire in Brunei and I was the GM of the Nusa Dua Beach Hotel & Spa in Bali. I have interacted with Torsten both professionally as well as personally and I am happy to call him a good friend today. I am sure he is cooking away wonders in Malaysia now and I would not hesitate to recommend him to any future employer.
