Conducted in depth qualitative data analysis for paper on beaver mimicry. This study draws on qualitative data from interviews to explore the question of how beaver mimicry projects continue to be promoted and implemented, despite the lack of comprehensive scientific studies and unclear regulatory requirements. More specifically we describe how these three groups differentially assess the salience, credibility, and legitimacy of evidence for beaver mimicry and analyze how those assessments affect each group’s conclusions about the feasibility, desirability, and scalability of beaver mimicry. Developed a synthesis of climate training and capacity building activities for Tribal and Indigenous communities led by the eight regional Climate Adaptation Science Centers. During this project I identified and categorized relevant activities, gathered related materials that might benefit others seeking to implement similar activities, provided analysis of the content and skills provided across the network, and identified significant apparent gaps in providing these critical skills. Designed "Tribal Climate Adaptation Planning for Tribes," which is a set of seven presentations with additional materials and resources, that cover topics ranging from climate basics, climate adaptation, and vulnerability assessments. Conducted an in depth literature review and developed "North Central CASC Tribal Climate Change Survey," which will assist the tribal liaisons with connecting tribes with the resources and science (tools, data, etc.) they need to effectively prepare for and respond to climate change related impacts. This survey will also allow the CASC to a) Obtain input from tribes across the North Central region regarding their current initiatives, programs and resource needs related to climate change (adaptation); and b) Use the results to identify and prioritize science needs and define annual research targets as they relate to tribes.
