I provided leadership and managed all aspects of human resources for hourly employees in an $60 Million dollar High Risk and High Volume store location. Team of 6 reporting directly in to me and an additional 250-300 indirectly reporting to me. Managed a wide range of employee relations, worker’s compensation, and benefits administration processes. Coached team members, team leaders, and the executive management team on performance management best practices. Championed diversity and developed team recognition and rewards programs. Was selected as the district training captain and as a member of the university recruiting program. One of my most impactful tasks included implementing covid safety processes throughout the store and maintaining them alongside my peers. With high employee turnover, I maintained the store headcount and supported seasonal staffing year-round due to the global pandemic. Served as a subject matter expert and adviser for employee performance evaluations. Identified individual stores points of contention, and the sources of such opportunities. Provided recommendations on how to improve productivity through performance management and employee and labor relations programs. Advised and developed low to mid level IDP’s and career destination planning.
