Sameiet Nyhavn 1 was founded in 2016, and consists of three apartment buildings with a total of 75 apartments. I entered into the role as Chairman in the beginning of 2019, and during my period as chairman my team made efforts into renegotiate different service agreements and entered into new agreements in order to save costs and to improve quality. For instance, instead of having two separate companies for janitor services and cleaning services, we decided to look into using only one company to perform both services. At the beginning of 2020 we completed the evaluation of all the bidders and signed the contract with the new company. Furthermore, we took the initiative to communicate more, and better, with our neighbor condominium, resulting in better collaboration and synergies between us. Show less

Verkshagen Boligsameie was founded in 2016, and consists of two apartment buildings, with a total of 66 apartments. I entered into the role as chairman when the new board was founded, a couple of months after the condominium had been completed, and everyone had moved into their new homes. Before the board was founded, OBOS had made many deals on our behalf, such that we could focus on the day to day business. We did however enter into new deals, and we improved existing contracts during my period of chairman, as well as handling upcoming challenges which we solved as best as we could. Fuglesangs AS is an independent supplier of pumping systems, hydraulics and maintenance services in Norway. When I started in Fuglesangs AS, I came straight from the university, and I had the luxury of utilizing my acquired skills on turbo machinery and fluid mechanics from the university in my new role as a project engineer. I enjoyed the variety of work related to the role as a project engineer, and it was great to follow a project from early bidding phase and up to the point of delivery. Some of my responsibilities was managing a portfolio of suppliers, performing calculations, making bids and act as project manager for a portfolio of orders. While studying at NTNU, I worked every summer at "Vaktmestersentralen AS" in Bergen (later acquired by Coor Service Management). The first year, I spent the entire summer mowing the lawn at several different properties in and around Bergen area. The second year, I got more responsibilities like managing a portfolio of properties and performing various upcoming craft tasks. I still mowed the lawn, but this time at the evenings. The third, fourth and fifth year, I did the same as the second year, but I was also leading the team when we were sent out for upcoming field jobs (cleanup after water leakages or cleanup after fire in buildings etc.). Some of the major cleanup jobs I participated in was: - The windstorm "Dagmar" (2011). We were sent to Førde to help clean up after the storm. - The flooding in eastern part of Norway (2012), We were sent to Hokksund area to help clean up in private homes (mostly flooded basements).
