Torbjörn Linderson AB was started as a spin off from my racing with Trinity Flyer (33' Ib Pors Nielsen/Stefan Törnblom racing trimaran) with the First customer being Selden Masts defining Multihull engineering criteria for Anders Heuman, Swedish 505 enthusiast (that is where my racing started) and head of engineering at Selden . @ future fibres the spars and rigging for the Nigel Irens designed A 65 and APC 78 saw the light. In these designs we pioneered a mastjack which simultaneously allowed us to adjust Diamonds and cap shrouds. We also innovated a semi airfoil soft Diamond setup. The MMB 550 rig was a "Beaujolais nouveau´"´variant of the French "Classique" multihull setup: altering the geometry of the lowers and the tang positions on the mast allowed us to create a spreaderless rig which could be deep reefed´without the need for an inner forestay.
