Built, Designed and Migrated rennies existing CICD paid service to an internal CICD solution utilizing Jenkins, Docker, and AWS as the underlying tech stack which resulted in reducing the average build times for our main rails application down from an average of 1 hour per build to 5 minutes per build Improved rennie cloud infrastructure by introducing Infrastructure-as-code best practices utilizing Terraform we have moved away from manual creation of resources to having complete CICD automation for our cloud created resources which resulted in less friction between developers and Ops teams when it came to creating new services/aws credentials or other related cloud services. We also were able to reduce monthly costs when we migrated to using Infrastructure as code, we were able to clean up a lot of outdated services that were no longer used. Resulting in a 30% reduction on our monthly AWS bills Built, designed, and migrated old microservice EC2 Cloud-based architecture to a more highly scaleable modern architecture tech stack consisting majority of AWS services such as ECS, ALB, Cloudfront, and RDS which resulted in giving us our application the following: Better scalability with the ECS containers with autoscaling policies, Improved Load balancing with our Application load balancer, and finally utilizing Cloudfront for serving static assets for faster web page loads. Overall improving our application as a whole. Show less
