I met Tony at supper one night 15 years ago - I wasn’t on the original guest list I was a friends plus one. across the table from where I was sitting was an incredibly enigmatic man - who commanded the table and those around it - his energy and intelligence was palpable and I was drawn into listening to his conversation with two other people I had never met - (one a TV exec) and the other the host of the dinner - the conversation between us all flowed so easily - a magic happened that I will never forget - a unique friendship and bond formed and I am still excited that I am still to this day able to call him not just friend but also my mentor - in October we had a coffee. First get together since before Covid - - he gave me some new words of wisdom and a touch of his magic that flows from his words - after 12 years of being on benefits due to ill health - I took the leap of faith I needed and now I am potentially heading for a 3 figure salary / buying my first home and creating a charity for people with mental health issues- Tony who would have thought coffee would have created so much so quickly - NETICAS - is the charity name - and is opening soon - thank you so much for being you - you are utterly inspiring and I am blessed we met - I can’t express my gratitude and thank this man for all he has given me since we met / a great teacher / mentor and friend - his books are threadbare as they have been read so often - will have to replace them soon with new copies - Tony you are definitely a blessing whom we should embrace and learn from - thank you
