Tony was responsible for the interest rate derivates trading desk during my tenure at Chase. In addition to his keen risk management skills, he had a genuine (and at times unique) appreciation for the value of client relationships. Under Tony’s steady leadership, our clients came to rely on consistent pricing from us; always fair and often enough aggressive. Tony was willing to accommodate smaller transactions and rewarded clients for the opportunity to participate in larger, and where possible negotiated, transactions. He was a valuable and reliable partner in addressing shared issues pertaining to clients or employees. Tony’s trading skills, operating style, and appreciation for the potential value of customer flows allowed us to integrate client needs and a highly profitable business. It was a pleasure to have him as a colleague and business partner.

Tony ranks amongst the best of breed derivatives traders. Period. Over almost two decades of having worked with him, first as a colleague and subsequently as business counterpart, I am consistently impressed with his keen intellect and continuous development of his already formidable knowledge of investments and portfolio management. While Tony's skills as a trader and risk manager rank up there in the superstar category, the greater part of who he is as person is the real story. A true professional with excellent judgment. A team builder and compassionate manager. A person who goes more than the extra mile for his team members. For those of us who have worked with him know how privileged and rewarding the experience has been. Thank you, Tony, and wish you nothing but the best.
