Complete Direct and Wire-Order transactions that the Advisor sends into Head Office (eg. Purchases, Redemptions, Switches, Automatic Payments); Complete Registered Transfers with money coming from other Institutions and money going out to other Institutions. This includes making sure the paperwork is completed and filled in correctly and the transactions are occurring on the same type of policies. When paperwork from the Advisor is received, I make sure that it is in good order and follows compliance rules and regulations; Review the accounting on transactions processed to make sure the correct amount was transferred, correct funds used, correct trade dates entered, and correct corporate bank accounts used. If this was completed incorrectly then I take the necessary steps to reverse the transactions and apply it correctly. First contact person for GWL Financial Advisors along with clients at Head Office. Assist Advisors with getting the correct paperwork completed in the field before it is submitted to Head Office therefore preventing the paperwork from being declined and therefore delaying the trade. Review transaction details on the corporate computer system with Advisors and the MA’s when they are placing a trade. Assist Advisors to find the best solutions to grow the client’s financial portfolios. Correspond with other staff members and Management to obtain the correct information for certain transaction types. Process Non-Financial changes to a clients account (beneficiary changes, Income payment changes, etc) Very familiar with the products and systems used for Quadrus, London Life Seg Funds, and GWL.
