      -Organizes, plans and directs activities related to solicitation of donors for the Foundation; sets goals and develops policies and procedures in accordance with the mission of the Foundation and with Institutional Advancement goals and objectives.-Compiles and summarizes statistical and other data for reports to donors and/or the University.-Identifies, engages and cultivates new donor prospects on a regular basis.-Develops, plans and implements select annual fund initiatives as required. -Evaluates department goals; as required, develops and implements effective strategies for donor solicitations and stewardship efforts in conjunction with the division Vice President. -Maintains knowledge of planned giving arrangements, pertinent tax laws and other factors related to substantial gifts. -Establishes and maintains effective communication and cooperative working relationships with donors, college administrators, faculty and staff, government and private agencies and/or the public in order to accomplish the objectives of the Foundation.-Maintains integrity and appropriate donor confidentiality in Institutional Advancement.-Approves and/or develops public relations materials relating to fundraising. -Represents the Foundation and the University at conferences, seminars or meetings as required.-Initiates and plans donor stewardship events and other fundraising initiatives as required.-Serves on the President's Council for Women, Arts Council and the Alumni Leadership Initiative and other ad hoc and standing committees as required.-Directs the establishment and the maintenance of essential donor records and files.
