It is my pleasure to recommend the managing skills of Tonya Hastings. During my time at Ray Morgan Company, Tonya took me under her wing. The position was my first outside sales opportunity and Tonya was generous in showing me the ropes of what it takes. She helped me structure how to make phone calls and in person meetings with prospective clients effectively, how to keep track of my pipeline, and how to work with our technical team to ensure quality customer service. One of my highlights while working with Ray Morgan, was the collaboration with our HP Partners in their National Demo Contest. I pitched Tonya my idea of a music video. To be fair it was a outlandish concept, but as a manager she supported me and encouraged me to use my imagination. When it was all said and done I was one of their finalists and we headed to New Orleans to compete in the demonstration. Tonya practiced with me and aided in the editing of my presentation. For someone who is a rookie in the industry I was honored to be considered as a finalist and was shocked when the judges ranked my presentation as 3rd place in the overall competition. It really was a testament to the mentorship of Tonya. If anyone is looking to be managed by a true leader, genuine and kindhearted person, Tonya is the right manager for you.
