Led the organization in successfully expanding the film festival to 11 days, deepening its impact on the community by broadening its offerings of year-round free screenings, and improving its relationships with key community partners. When the long-time director announced his departure shortly before the 2016 festival, I led the search for a new director, including creating a search committee, obtaining funds from community partners to cover the cost of a search consultant, and implementing a structure by which the staff had leadership, oversight, and support during the transition. Aa result of these steps, the organization met its budget and had one of the most successful film festivals in its history.

Partner in the Litigation Group of Kilpatrick Townsend & Stockton LLP, a multinational law firm that is fully engaged in the success of its clients. Trial, appellate and arbitration experience representing both established companies and emerging companies in a broad range of disputes, including patent litigation, complex business disputes, and securities litigation.Appeared in litigation matters throughout the country, including matters pending in federal courts in Texas, Delaware, North Carolina, California, Georgia, South Carolina, Colorado, and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. With more than a decade of experience in managing large, complex cases, I understand the importance of a clearly defined and defensible litigation strategy—one that enables the parties to identify and exchange relevant discovery efficiently and cost-effectively and in a manner that will enable the litigation team to persuasively present the case at trial. I established and then led Kilpatrick Townsend’s eDiscovery and Information Management litigation team for all of its US offices. In doing so, I regularly worked with attorneys and clients in developing, implementing and defending eDiscovery strategies, including negotiating with opposing counsel, working with clients to efficiently identify and collect relevant information, and explaining the eDiscovery issues to the court when necessary. In addition, I spoke regularly and conducted training for internal constituents, clients and bar organizations. Specialties: eDiscovery, Federal court litigation, patent litigation
