Developed Decision Tree Apps to Analyse Litigation Risk & Management Risks
-
Jan 2021 - Mar 2023
Worked with a partner at a well known law firm to develop a decision tree model which allows lawyers to quantify the risks in pursuing a given case. When a client asks, for example, "how likely am I to win this case?", the lawyer can now put probabilities on that assessment rather than a vague "quite likely". Wrote an iOS app, LitRisk, to make the model more accessible and useable. Adapted this app for use by senior management to help analyse the risks inherent in complex business decisions.
