This new position was formed to bridge a gap between developers in Boise and testers in India. I am designing and implementing automated test framework for new and updated features and then using it for feature test coverage. This includes coordinating efforts with a team in India, a development team I'm embedded in, and two other testers that have been embedded in similar teams. The test framework involves a variety of tools from C# written in Visual Studio to REST testing with Postman, and now UI testing using Selenium. As the needs of the project change, I research, propose, and implement techniques that update or expand existing infrastructure to handle additional technical hurdles.
