Working with their client, Unity Media, I worked in the project team during the migration of their billing and provisioning systems. We ensured data integrity in the data migration process and ensured that the integrity of the provisioning process was maintained as, first the provisioning system was changed, then the company's products and services were chaned, then the billing system was upgraded, and finally a subsidiary company was merged into the operation. I worked with Ramboll UK to integrate their acquired company, Gifford, into their Enterprise Resourse Planning system, Maconomy. In this process we extracted all the ERP data from the Gifford old system and loaded it into the target database ensuring integrity in the transfer of over £500 million pounds worth of project history, while allowing the company's construction projects to operate seamlessly during the migration. Maxim Consulting was a company that three colleagues and myself created in order to deliver change-management projects for our telecommunication clients throughout the UK and Europe. Starting from a staff base of 5, we expanded to 45 in three years, with a company turnover of £5 million in our last year. So successful were we that we merged with a French management consultancy firm, Valoris. My role specifically was to manage our high-profile IT projects, ensuring they were appropriately staffed with technical skills, and ensuring quality of our project delivery. Show less
