I am supplied by Nable as a software engineering resource to the D2D systems development team at Hewlett-Packard (HP Labs) Bristol site, which develops high-availability enterprise-class backup appliances. As such I work as an integral part of the development team. My work has involved: re-engineering an existing custom database solution originally designed for multi-process use for use in a multi-threaded environment, heavily modifying a RAID management system, and implementing a method of rescuing as much data as possible from an integrity-compromised de-duplication store. In each case I have either been solely responsible for the work or provided the technical leadership in a collaborative effort.
