• Senior staff engineer in the systems engineering department for Motorola's Telematics group• responsible for analysis of customer requirements for Telematics applications that integrate Bluetooth with high-speed infotainment buses like MOST-Bus, I-Bus, or high-speed CAN-bus• worked closely with all of Motorola's automotive customers to establish the Bluetooth requirements for their next-generation Telematics applications• represented Motorola in several standards organizations: AMI-C, Bluetooth SIG Auto Expert Group, Bluetooth SIG Car Working Group, and the Bluetooth SIG Architecture Review Board (BARB)• chaired the Bluetooth SIG Car Working Group for two years • championed the adoption of Hands-free Profile 1.0• expanded the activities of the Bluetooth SIG Car Working Group to begin work on two new Bluetooth automotive profiles: Vehicle Interface Profile, and the Vehicle Personalization Profile• During my term as chair of the Bluetooth SIG Car Working Group, participation increased fourfold from six members to more than twenty five active participants.• received Global Standards Awards from Motorola in 2002, 2003 and 2004 recognizing outstanding performance for my roles in the Bluetooth SIG Auto Expert Group and Car Working Group
