• Planned, designed and implemented HSSE policies, procedures and systems where previously there were none. Instigated a simple but effective management system to a pump installation project in Israel, and trained operatives in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Completed 3 weeks ahead of schedule with zero incidents due to either safety or injury. • Implemented Safety Management System in Iraq based on the HSE recommended HSG65 model, and drove its use across all company projects. Olive Group subsequently adopted the system as best practice across Iraq, which enabled the company to successfully win multiple new contracts because of its demonstrated commitment to safety. • Pioneered and led the implementation of a new Control of Works System to a Well Testing and Production Facility. The project involved ground preparation work (civil engineering), the building of monitoring stations and pipeline fabrication. Delivered comprehensive training package to all contractors and sub-contractors to ensure best practice was maintained.
