I was a major contributor to putting Rooftop Housing ‘on the map’ amongst other Housing Associations with regard to being a leading provider of high quality well managed Gypsy and Traveller housing. . I was the chair of the Worcestershire Gypsy and Traveller Partnership and a member of the National Association of Gypsy Traveller officers. Following a housing restructure decisions were taken to no longer have dedicated staff to mange this specialist housing function, and my role was made redundant on June 30th 2016.

Funded via the Drug Intervention Programme. Rough Sleepers Outreach Team - working with people that are rough sleeping within the City. DIP Accommodation Team - addressed the accommodation needs of DIP service users and other Prolific or Priority Offenders. My role demanded that I work in partnership with several stakeholders, managing eight services within one building and working together as a single project.

St Eugenes Court delivered accommodation and support to 44 first and second generation Irish men aged 45+ that had experienced poor quality housing and / or homelessness. I successfully met all objectives set, delivered a fully staffed operational project delivering a full catering service and having no voids, all completed February to April 2003. The delivery of this project resulted in my team and I being awarded the organisations ‘excellence in action’ award for the best team performance in 2003.
