During the 6 years plus as Co Founder & Director of Govtoday, we delivered over 100 conferences on a variety of Public Policy driven themes and initiatives from healthcare, sustainability, and financial reform, working with over 10,000 delegates, 1000's of commercial sponsors ( 25% of FTSE 100). The company achieved numerous rounds of successful investment funding from both institutional and private investors such as Maven Capital, North West Fund for Digital & Creative, and Osprey Capital. The organisation experienced huge growth and delivered numerous job opportunities and moved to Media City offices where we operated a team of 40 professionals and continued to deliver high level conferences and webinars. Sadly after 6 years of trading and largely due to failed takeover discussions, whilst trading profitably the company was unable to service its existing debt and went into administration. Show less
