    • EDS Terminations, Stage 1/2 Offshore Supervisor
      • Nov 2016 - Oct 2017

Currently working on Rampion wind farm as offshore supervisor over seeing teams on stage 1 and stage 2 programme, working closely with Eon client reps ensuring high standards are maintained. Stage 1 teams completing initial install - OTDR fibre pre test, HV core phase ID, HV TDR,10 KV insulation resistance test on 150mm and 400mm, cable stripping, Henley hang offs, containment, HV-Fibre cable routing, earth cable routing, cleating and fibre optic terminations and intermediate OTDR test.Stage 2 teams completing secondary install HV joints - additional containment, 150mm and 400mm 3M straight through joints, ductor testing earth terminals. Also play a part in compiling final Exfo/pdf merged test documents for OTDR/TDR/Phase ID, in preparation to be sent to the client. Whilst working on the GyM project my role was to coordinate nine fibre teams, ensuring all engineers where supplied with the correct information, materials and equipment for termination and OTDR testing ,responsibility’s also included all test results to be collected and accounted for then merged into a PDF report as per the clients request, similarly the QC reports had to be compiled with photos and then signed off, additionally I spent time liaising with the clients SCADA team ensuring connectivity was achieved and all work was carried out within spec. I attended daily meetings with the project manager and colleagues involved with HV terminations enabling us to coordinate the teams as efficiently as possible.
