  Kuri is an open-source Dead-Letter Queue-as-a-Service for distributed applications deployed on an AWS infrastructure. - Architected a distributed infrastructure using AWS Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, and EC2 that allows message persistence and interactivity of messages in a dead-letter queue - Developed the full stack application using Node.js, React, React Bootstrap CSS, and AWS cloud computing services - Prototyped alternative infrastructure using AWS CDK and ran a spike to determine the optimal solution which resulted in deployment time being reduced from 5 minutes to under 1 minute - Implemented a notification service using AWS Lambda and Slack webhooks to provide real-time updates to a user's Slack channel - Created a RESTful API service using Express.js to connect with DynamoDB using the AWS SDK - Developed a custom Command Line Interface packaged into an npm package for developers to install, configure and deploy with minimal effort using CommanderJS and InquirerJS libraries - Collaborated with a team of three other international developers using GitHub and GitHub Organizations - Authored a comprehensive technical case study, readable at https://kuri-dlq.github.io - Designed, wrote, edited, and presented an informational tech talk covering the creation process and implementation of Kuri watchable at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4cJkspwzjDQ&t=6s&ab_channel=launchschool Show less
